| The Melbourne University Geothermal Group has scored an $835,000 win in the shape of an Australian Research Council ‘Discovery’ grant for a project: "The thermal structure and evolution of the Australian continent". The grant to Dr Sandra McLaren and Prof Mike Sandiford is the biggest to date from the ARC for geothermal studies and confirms the appetite of Federal Government agencies for advancing fundamental geothermal research. |
