Petratherm Ltd advised that the 2000 HP Le Tourneau ‘Lightning’ Drilling Rig scheduled to drill PTR’s ‘Paralana 2’ would be delayed by about two months because of Hurricane Ike in Texas. In preparation for deep drilling, PTR has completed two water wells to approximately 115 m at the Paralana well site. Both are flowing four to five litres per second of water for drilling operations. PTR also advised it has lodged an Expression of Interest for accessing funds from the Federal Government’s $50m Geothermal Drilling Program. |
