After some shock political upheaval in Victoria, a new Premier, John Brumby, was sworn in on Monday 30th.

Brumby is a bit of an unknown when it comes to his attitude towards renewable energy and climate change, and early media releases from his office have been decidedly barren of any mention of either of these topics. Time will tell what impact that may have on, until now, promising moves in our home state (e.g. the announcement from Monday 16th.)
