Also on Wednesday 24th Torrens Energy Limited let us all know that it is also moving ahead with its exploration program. A drill rig has been mobilised to north of Port Augusta in South Australia to begin TEY’s Temperature Field Modelling program, supported by its recent $3m REDI grant. |

Queensland's First Geothermal Permit Granted The ABC rural Queensland news reported Queensland's first permit for geothermal energy exploration was issued on the 1st of June by the State Government to a New South Wales-based company. Managing director of "Granite Power" Stephen de Belle says it won the tender for its "Nagoorin" tenement near Gladstone about a year ago, but the permit means they can now start drilling.. |
