The Weekend Australian carried an article about geothermal energy on Saturday 24th.

The article briefly mentioned Graeme, which caused his mother no end of angst trying to locate a copy late in the day.

It didn’t help that his brother got married the same day. Smile

World's first granite-hosted EGS power plant

Soultz power plant was inaugurated by the Prime Minister on Friday the 13th of June 08. The world's first granite-hosted EGS power plant to feed power into a national grid. The pilot plant of Soultz-sous-Forets (Alsace, France) is the first EGS power plant based on a fractured reservior at 4-4.5 km. A First ORC module of  1.5 MWe is injecting electricity into the power grid.
