Allegiance Mining, owner of Geothermal Energy Tasmania (GET), was the target of a hostile takeover bid from Zinifex Ltd on Monday 17th.

The bid places the future of GET and its western Tasmanian geothermal project in doubt, as Zinifex only stated an interest in Allegiance’s nickel assets.
