Geelong has potential to be a world leader in geothermal energy production In the Geeolong Advertiser, on the 3rd of June, a story read that Geelong could top an international list of cities on geothermalgoldmines. Greenearth Energy has announced an independent consultant's reportranked the greater Melbourne area as the number one in the world forhot energy below its surface. Geothermal energy consultancy Hot Dry Rocks conducted the report,taking data from a 100km radius of 40 international cities that werepart of the C40 climate change leadership group.
