Queensland's First Geothermal Permit Granted

The ABC rural Queensland news reported Queensland's first permit for geothermal energy exploration was issued on the 1st of June by the State Government to a New South Wales-based company. Managing director of "Granite Power" Stephen de Belle says it won thetender for its "Nagoorin" tenement near Gladstone about a year ago, butthe permit means they can now start drilling..
