The list of companies holding geothermal exploration licences grew incrementally when Southern Gold Ltd announced that four new GELs have been awarded to its wholly-owned subsidiary, Inferus Resources Pty Ltd.

The GELs cover more than 1,990 km² to the west of Lake Torrens in South Australia.
