On Tuesday 19, Google.Org announced almost US$11 million of investment into groups working to facilitate EGS-type geothermal developments. US$6.25m went to AltaRock Energy (with whom HDRPL Director Roy Baria is associated), US$4m went to Potter Drilling (associated with Jeff Tester), and almost US$0.5m went to Dave Blackwell’s team at Southern Methodist University in Dallas TX.
