News emerged that the new luxury geothermal spa resort at Warrnambool in Victoria will be called Mantra Deep Blue.

Initially the resort will have 75 hotel rooms, five apartments, a licensed café, restaurant, lounge and a geothermal bathhouse. It will be expanded within 18 months to incorporate an additional 28 apartments and a 300-seat conference facility. 

Melbourne based Syncline Energy have provided technical advice on the geothermal aspects of the project.
