The Australian Research Cluster of the International Energy Agency’s Geothermal Implementing Agreement (IEA-GIA-ARC) met at the PIRSA offices in Adelaide on Friday 19th January to discuss, amongst other things, a better name with a more euphonious acronym for the group.
The “coalition of the excited” (to quote Barry Goldstein) included representatives from industry, academia, state and federal governments. The group enjoyed a robust discussion about the barriers to geothermal and what can be done to minimise them.
