Greenearth Energy has announced the successful completion of a 52 station magneto- telluric survey in its GEP10 licence (near Geelong). A full analysis of the data is expected in 2–3 months. GER also announced that a pilot trial of micro-earthquake monitoring has commenced in its GEP13 licence. A sonde has been placed at 1430 m in the well Loy Yang 2. Continuous recordings over 12 months will determine whether the pilot trial is extended to other wells in the region.
