In a refreshingly frank and candid ASX announcement on Monday 22nd January, Geodynamics Limited released information about their preparations for Habanero 3. 

The announcement revealed that they have awarded tenders for the required casing, well head and Christmas tree (let’s hope it arrives in time for Christmas!). It went on to reveal Geodynamics’ deliberations about securing a drilling rig capable of performing the task, and made the rather surprising statement that the company is considering buying its own rig. 

The mere thought of a drilling rig in Australia dedicated purely to geothermal work could whip the “coalition of the excited” into a state of frenzy!
