Green Rock Energy has confirmed that it has been chosen as the preferred applicant for three geothermal exploration permits in the Perth Basin in its own name), and a further 11 Permits in JV with major participants in the Collie and Perth Basins. The permits will be “formally offered following completion of native title negotiations.” As well as power generation, GRK is pursuing direct use of geothermal energy for heating and cooling of buildings, and for desalination.
