A delegation of geothermal engineers from the Southwest Electric Power Design Institute (SWEPDI; Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China) has swept through Melbourne as part of a whirlwind SW Pacific tour of geothermal countries. Professor Mike Sandiford of the Melbourne Energy Institute hosted the group, who were entertained by presentations from Hot Dry Rocks, KUTh Energy, Hot Rock Ltd and Greenearth Energy. Graeme Beardsmore extends a big “thank you” to the excellent translator who accompanied the delegation.
