AGEA has circulated a new report by economics consultants MMA, “Comparative Costs of Electricity Generation Technologies.” The study concludes that by 2020 the levelised cost of hot rock energy will be between AU$90–AU$100 per MWhr (in 2008 dollars.) That is extremely competitive with all other renewables.
