Green Rock Energy Ltd lodged an “open briefing” with the ASX. In it, GRK divulged more about their recently announced venture into Hungary. 

“The objective is to utilize hot water produced from out-of-use petroleum wells...for the establishment of a suite of 2 MWe to 8 MWe geothermal power plants.The aim of [the] first project is to install a 2–5 MWe geothermal power plant to be commissioned in 2008. In addition, after passing through the power plant the geothermal water will provide heat for industrial purposes and a multi-acre greenhouse agricultural operation.”
