The draft paper reports on a study to “assess the feasibility of the development of a geothermal spa facility in the Port Fairy region. [The] study is to examine the opportunity in Port Fairy to create a major attraction and enhance the spa and wellness product available in the state.” Three sites around Port Fairy are short-listed for the project, although no developer has yet been identified.
