“Introduction to Geothermal Energy” course PDF Print E-mail

For the week of Monday 16th – Friday 20th Graeme Beardsmore ran his annual “Introduction to Geothermal Energy” course through the Victorian Institute of Earth and Planetary Sciences (VIEPS). Geoscience Victoria graciously hosted the course. 

Attendees visited a geothermal heat pump operation in East Melbourne, the geothermal hot springs spa in Rye, and Doone Wyborn of Geodynamics (by telephone) was good enough to field questions from course participants about the Habanero project. 

Hopefully some of the Honours/Masters year participants go on to help fill the skills hole in this industry.
